Architect Peter Johnson presents a fascinating talk which will take you through St Kilda’s former mansions. His detailed knowledge, together with photographs of the time, will bring to life St Kilda of the 1850s to the 1890s and how this sleepy seaside area of St Kilda was transformed into a suburb of grand mansions for the wealthy. Though most are now gone, this talk will take place in Linden, one of St Kilda’s surviving grand homes, now a contemporary art space.
