Festival posters from the Port Phillip City Collection

Since Council amalgamation in 1994, the role of the Indigenous Arts Officer has been to produce a range of events and arts programs focusing on Aboriginal culture and artists. These events include the annual celebration of NAIDOC week and an evolving Aboriginal Arts Festival, currently the Yalukit Wilum Ngargee opening festival day for the St Kilda Festival.

The Festival posters produced to promote these events document their development and the rich visual legacy of the participating artists.
